Students are prepared for National SATs examinations in Mathematics and English. The tuition course will cover the approved curriculum in comprehensive detail, with the objective of ensuring our students are performing in excess of national requirements at the point of examination.

As part of the tuition programme, students are initially taken through an intermediate course, which if mastered, precedes advanced level preparation. Once completed, the vast majority of our students’ SATs scores land in the top quartile of national results.

Mathematics
The tuition course covers the fundamentals of KS1 and KS2 Maths and develops advanced mental fluency within a wide variety topics (e.g. whole numbers, counting, place value, division with fractions, decimals and percentages).

English
Our English tuition programme ensures that KS1 fundamentals such as phonic knowledge, grapheme-phoneme correspondences (GPCs) and grammatical structures are mastered. This is used as a platform to build advanced skills at KS2 in comprehension, morphology, etymology and a student’s writing skills (grammar, punctuation, vocabulary).
